This past Friday, was the final installment of the “Oldie but Goodie” parties for 6th Ward seniors. This event, hosted by myself, State Rep Tishaura Jones and State Senator Robin Wright-Jones, was an opportunity to demonstrate how much we, their elected officials, care for them and support them.

Gathering “just because” 6th Ward residents were treated to free hot dogs, hamburgers, snacks, music, games for the neighborhood children and free information from several community based agencies providing service in the ward.
