Today, from 4:30pm to 7 pm the City’s Department of Human Services, and the St. Louis Public Schools, will have a “Hope Is Moving In” hub grand opening at Sigel Elementary School, 2039 Russell Boulevard. This hub will service the 6th Ward in providing housing services.

Youth Service and Impact Mini grants are available for young people to work on a community issue or problem. Applications for the 2009 funding cycle are available NOW.
6th Ward delivers for Obama
With an overwhelming 86.6% of the vote for Obama in Tuesday’s historic election, the city’s Sixth Ward came in strong for the president-elect. The ward, represented by Alderman Kacie Starr-Triplett at City Hall, cast 6,146 ballots for Obama – the largest total of any ward in the city.
