Recently, Ald. Carter (Ward 27) and myself led a trip of elected officials to the West Lake Landfill in North County. For decades, the site has housed radioactive waste that threatens to contaminate drinking water across our region. As the waste gets older, that threat becomes even more dangerous. The Saint Louis American recently published an in-depth story on our visit and created the video below.
