Triplett Joins Planned Parenthood Board
(ST. LOUIS) – Today, Alderman Kacie Starr Triplett (D-6 Ward) announced that she had joined the board of directors for Planned Parenthood of the Saint Louis Region. Triplett, a staunch supporter of preventive education and access to the services Planned Parenthood provides, began her term on January 1st.
“For over 75 years, Planned Parenthood has provided health care education and protection to men and women throughout the Saint Louis region,” Triplett said. “I’m proud to join their executive board and continue my advocacy in support of providing every person with the ability to take control of his or her life, health and future.”
Triplett is alderman of the 6th Ward in St. Louis. She is a firm supporter of reproductive health care and education, and recently participated in Planned Parenthood’s World AIDS Day testing event, to promote testing for the disease. She currently serves as the youngest elected official in the city of St. Louis, and represents part of downtown St. Louis and several south St. Louis neighborhoods.
