Triplett Hosts 6th Ward Empowerment Expo
(ST. LOUIS) – On Saturday, Alderman Kacie Starr Triplett (D-6 Ward) hosted an event to promote money management and personal financial responsibility. The 6th Ward Empowerment Expo brought together speakers from local organizations including Better Family Life, CAMCO and the St. Louis Housing Authority. The Al Chappelle Center in the 6th Ward hosted the event.
“Responsible money management is one of the keys to lifelong success,” Triplett said. “This event provided useful tips for everyone in attendance. It’s my hope that we can have many future expos to help renew, develop and foster growth in our community.”
Triplett is alderman of the 6th Ward in St. Louis. Before being elected to the Board, she tapped her personal entrepreneurial spirit by running her own company and managing local properties. She currently serves as the youngest elected official in the city of St. Louis, and represents part of downtown St. Louis and several south St. Louis neighborhoods.
