Alderman Triplett Takes HIV test on World AIDS day

On December 1st for World AIDS day, myself along with colleagues Ald. Young, French & Cohn got tested for the HIV virus at Planned Parenthood.

Exercising leadership on this very issue was important to us all. St. Louis ranks 5th in the nation, for the number of new HIV persons. In 2007, it was estimated that over 1 million Americans are living with the HIV virus.

Please get yourself tested. Knowledge is power.
