This past Friday, was the final installment of the “Oldie but Goodie” parties for 6th Ward seniors. This event, hosted by myself, State Rep Tishaura Jones and State Senator Robin Wright-Jones, was an opportunity to demonstrate how much we, their elected officials, care for them and support them.

Senior citizens serve as pillars of our community. They contain so much wisdom, knowledge and spunk that it becomes a privilege to provide a bit of entertainment, games and fun for their benefit.
